The newly designed church building is in the form of a rotunda, with massive perimeter walls and arches, which form the shape of a cross. The object has an elongated shape, placed with the longer side towards the east without deviation. The central space is occupied by the nave, while the corners behind the columns are separated by light partitions and form the proscomidia and diaconicon (toward the altar area) and the candle shop and confessional (toward the entrance). All partitions in the interior space are wooden, of the altar type, and will be defined in terms of shape within the interior project.
Construction works have been completed. Dimensions 18.52m x 17.78m, dome height 11.00m, total gross area 87.65m². The building is designed as a masonry, in a mixed system. Vertical and horizontal cerclages are provided in all necessary places. The dome rests on a circular concrete ring of variable section and then, after meeting the side vaults, on four pillars. The central dome and vaults are reinforced concrete.
The roof covering is a copper sheet. Around the plateau is a thick foundation, which partly supports the staircase, and partly limits the circular walk around the church.
